This is an expository paper based on Border [1]. Starting from basic convexity results, I present a proof of the so-called Equilibrium Theorem, which states the existence of a free disposal equilibrium price vector in an Arrow-Debreu economy with a continuous excess demand function.

On a Suzuki Type General Fixed Point Theorem with Applications

The main result of this paper is a fixed-point theorem which extends numerous fixed point theorems for contractions on metric spaces and recently developed Suzuki type contractions. Applications to certain functional equations and variational inequalities are also discussed.

A New Generalization of Browder Fixed Point Theorem with Applications

In the present paper, a new generalization of Browder fixed point theorem is obtained. As its applications, we obtain some generalized versions of Browder’s theorems for quasi-variational inequality and Ky Fan’s minimax inequality and minimax principle.
